EARTHQUAKE FELT IN PANGUITCH Distinct Shocks Felt By Residents Of City

People of Panguitch have been startled recently by slight earthquake shocks at night. About two weeks ago several shocks were felt in all parts of town, sufficient to shake buildings and rattle windows and articles hanging on the walls.
Thursday night of last week three distinct shocks were felt, one at 12:30, one at 1:10, and the last one at 1:20. These quakes were evidently accompanied by atmospherical disturbances, which caused the light meters to roar loudly in some instances.
